Handel Chandos Anthems No 1-11 / Christophers, The Sixteen

Classical Compilations

The Art of Alicia de Larrocha - a sublime Schubert B-flat Major Piano Sonata D.960 (by the time you get into the 2nd movement I think you'll understand why I am so enthusiastic), some wonderful Bach, and lots more from a variety of composers on a 7CD set! / Alicia de Larrocha - piano

Arleen Auger - Handel Bach Arias / The Mostly Mozart Orchestra Gerard Schwarz - (The Handel arias especially are absolutely wonderful--but really all of the tracks are truly excellent!) (Note: this double album, Arleen Augr - American Soprano, has almost the same tracks on Disc 1. And in fact despite the duplication it is still worth getting both CD's.)

Rachmaninoff for Relaxation - Vocalise / Anna Moffo (soprano) (Note: Vocalise, which is track 4, is worth getting just for this track alone!)

Violins for Relaxation - Meditation from Massenet's Thas / Anne Akiko Meyers (violin), Andrew Litton (conductor) - (Thas Meditation which is track #1 is beautiful!)

Ramirez Missa Criola / Jose Carreras (especially tracks 1 & 2)
