The SOtM tX-USB is a high quality PCI USB audio output card which incorporates a power line noise filter. It then has individual low noise regulators to power the USB devices attached, the onboard ultra low jitter clock, and the onboard PCI host controller. There is also the option of using the USB card's power connector (which is a 4 pin Molex) to supply it with either an external linear power supply or it can be run off of battery power. This USB audio card also has a switch to completely turnoff the power on the USB cable.
