It is likely that no other company producing products for the audio industry would say that their "...system was developed to satisfy the demands of an electrical inspector". When you're dealing with (producing) electrical power, these are demands worthy of attention.
The beginnings of Balanced Power date back to 1988 when a request was made to design the electrical system of a California recording studio complex. The desire was to improve sound quality from the recording studio through to the listening rooms. In 1993, the now-named Equi=Tech proposed amendments to the National Electrical code for the use of their concepts of balanced power. Professional audio and video studios were the principal early adopters. Still used by them today, their products are now found in universities, TV and radio stations, research laboratories, the FAA and innumerable other large organizations. More importantly for us, they have designed hardware applicable to the home; from wall systems suitable for an entire residence to individual components that will dramatically improve the sound of any audio or video system.
Balanced power, now a basic concept that brings audible improvements. For more information about the Equitech line please give us a call or visit the store.
