After years and countless hours of work, this new website finally went live in March 2021. It is hard to believe that we published our first website way back in February 1998. To put that into perspective our initial site went live less than 6 months after Google itself first started with their search engine. Now over 23 years later our newly designed website is live as you can plainly see. With the new site now designed, we are working on tweaking it further, sourcing better photographs for some of the images, updating the educational articles, and populating it with more material. We expect to have it mostly finished by the end of October 2021. You're invited to check back regularly to see what's new!
NEW Headphones arriving soon!
We have lots of the new "latest and greatest" headphone models that have either just arrived or will be arriving soon. Some of course will be open back and some will be closed back. As soon as they arrive they will put on demo in our dedicated headphone listening room so you can audition them side-by-side. The best way to decide which headphones to purchase is to directly compare a number of them both for sound quality as well as for fit. There is no substitute for ensuring long term comfort than to try them out on your own head for a while. So bring in your playlist and listen for as long as you wish!

Since the beginning of 2021, we've been told by many of our manufacturers that they have seen some significant price increases from their suppliers. As a consequence many of our manufacturers are going to be forced to raise their prices. So if you are thinking of purchasing a new system or upgrading your existing system, then you might wish to do so sooner rather than later.

Typical IT network switches/routers are designed with the sole purpose of taking data from A to B with a noise floor and precision that is "enough" for the rate of transmission. KALEIDESCAPE Terra 48TB Movie Server
In March 2021, Kaleidescape announced a new higher capacity movie server. This can be paired with either a Strato S or a Strato C movie server. You also might be interested to know that as of ear;y 2021, Kaleidescape has about 50% more 4k UHD/HDR movies and video concerts than are available on Blu-ray disc! This gap will probably continue to grow over the months and years to come.

MQA upgrade for Berkeley Alpha DAC Reference Series 1 or 2
