Having represented Spectral since 1984, Goodwin's High End is the oldest and most experienced Spectral Audio dealer in the US. There is a lot to know about how to integrate Spectral components into a system in order to deliver the best possible results. With our collective Spectral expertise, you can rest assured that you are getting the best advice when it comes to assembling a new system. Alternatively we'd be happy to advise you on upgrading an existing Spectral system, whether it be years or decades old. You might find it interesting to know that, with their latest technological developments, in recent years Spectral has become our #1 selling line here in the store. The simple reason is that when people come in for an audition, that they can become utterly entranced by the music. One thing that we say all the time when talking about Spectral, is that from an insider's viewpoint it is the best value in ultra high end audio available today. When you hear it of course you will immediately understand why so many people choose it after comparing it to other components which are available today.
— A B O U T S P E C T R A L —
Starting in 1977, Spectral Audio has unabashedly resisted industry trends, the seemingly relentless upward drift of price and the "me-too" approach prevalent in industries of all types. In spite of these seeming barriers to progress, their commitment to the manufacture of the most technologically advanced audio electronics remains intact.
Born of an involvement in the early, early days of the Silicon Valley tech revolution, they set out to discover how the best instrumentation techniques and devices could contribute to fine music reproduction. It was from this curiosity that their first component, the MS-ONE preamplifier, came to life. Soon thereafter Spectral, the company, formed. Ultra-fast, wide bandwidth, high resolution solid state design has always been at the heart of every product.
Their technological improvements over time are due in large part to the design teams' backgrounds in instrumentation, microwave, communications, recording engineering and other key disciplines. High tech medical, military grade and NASA certified production technicians flawlessly execute these visionary designs.
More than 40 years of continuous refinement has brought Spectral Audio to the enviable position in the audio industry of possessing a clientele of nearly unparalleled loyalty. The only new product a Spectral owner is likely to purchase is another Spectral.

White Paper: "Accuracy Matters In Music Reproduction"
One of the strengths of Spectral's line-up of components is that they put immense time and effort into designing each and every product. Rather than bring something to market as quickly as possible, they design and listen to a succession of prototypes in order to optimize the design in every possible way. This process many times takes years, and the results speak for themselves.
